“Harbour cottage”
Reviewed 14 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

We stayed for a long weekend, the cottage was spotless, warm and faultless on arrival. It’s situaled in the centre of Johnshaven on a quite street with easy parking, yet just minutes from the harbour, local shop and bar/restaurant. There is plenty to do in and around the surrounding area. Had a great stay and would recommend to anyone.

“Great base to explore”
Reviewed 27 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

My wife and out 15 yo son found this cottage excellent, very well equipped, clean and modern but homely. Nathalie was quick to reply to my correspondence, we never needed any help from the neighbour, Alan, but it was comforting to know we had that if needed.
Highly recommended, Johnshaven is a really peaceful harbour and close to St Cyrus, where a humpback whale was feeding at high tides.
Scenic routes along Dee and Don side start in Aberdeen along with lots more to see. We will be back!

“Perfection”
Reviewed 5 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

It is really hard, in my opinion, to find a holiday let that has all that you need while still feeling homely but this house met every criteria.

The house itself is lovely and cosey, the beds are comfortable and Johnshaven is beautiful. The welcome from Alan was great.

Highly recommend and will definitely consider staying again.

“Beautiful”
Reviewed 11 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

What a beautiful little house my niece and I had a wonderful time, Claire was lovely & Nathalie was great at replying to emails from her home in France. I loved it so much I will be back soon with my mum, dad & husband. Very dog friendly, as is whole village.

“Fabulous family cottage! Very relaxing!”
Reviewed 2 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

We stayed here over the long easter weekend with our 2 children 4 and 7. The cottage has everything you need. We loved the slept in bunk beds which they loved. We went for a meal at the local pub The Anchor which has a restaurant upstairs and can highly recommend. The food and staff were excellent. One thing there is no Wifi or phone signal however I found that a nice change! Would definitely return.
