(Note: This is a review for the guides that work out of Rose's Trout Dock. We had private accommodations elsewhere.) Ronnie was the dock manager- great guy. We hired James and Dennis for our group. They were helpful, courteous, and very knowledgeable about the river. They took time to get to know us, and made sure the excursion was all about us. We especially enjoyed the shore lunch. You can't get much more fresh trout than that! I highly recommend using guides on the White/Norfork river, and Rose's Trout Dock is a great place to start!
This cabin was ideal for an extended family trip to use while fishing the confluence of the Norfork and White Rivers. The cabin is well kept and the kitchen is stocked with necessary equipment to fry up your catch and prepare family style breakfasts. Plenty of beds to sleep up to fourteen. Usually I will rent a smaller unit at Roses when it a fishing trip with me and my boys but this cabin is very spacious with a great room with TV and a very nice windowed porch area to view the Norfork River across the road. Staff over the years has always been accommodating on boat rentals and lodging. They have added a pool but dont count on it as the focal point, but good for younger kids swimmin hole!
