What a trip! We had a wonderful week.
We loved waking up to the sound of the roaring river and the birds chirping. We started our day with espresso followed by a yoga session surrounded by majestic mountains. The days were full of adventures and when we arrived back to camp the drinks were cold and the hot tubs were hot!
The staff was kind, friendly, knowledgeable and fun.
Did I mention the food? Hot soup and fresh salad every night followed by a delicious themed dinner party.
This was a trip filled with new friends, old friends, music, laughter, adventure, relaxation and memories that will last a lifetime. I can't wait to do it again!

The location, the staff, the food & the activities couldn't have been any more perfect. This is a 5star company that makes you feel like family. Their connections & partnerships in the community shine through and their love of this gorgeous water is apparent. This was my first trip experience like this and it won't be my last...They will all be with my bio bio family. Much love & admiration to them all!

Room Tip: We stayed in orchard. Close enough to action but far away enough from noise

I am a repeat guest at Bio Bio's camp on the Fu. It's a fantastic way to spend a week. The rafting is top notch but it's also so much more. The whole Bio Bio team are very good at what they do - which includes creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere in camp.

If you are the kind of traveler who believes the "help" should silently and invisibly meet all your needs, then this place is NOT for you.
The team at Bio Bio have larger than life personalities and they eat, drink, dance, sing and yoga with you and then provide world-class river guiding expertise.
The camp provides you with a comfortable bed right on the banks of possibly the most beautiful whitewater river in the world The water is clean and clear. The Patagonian cliffs and waterfalls are surreal and the rapids are nothing short of massive.
Food, big fun and instant friendships. It is paradise for anyone with an adventurous spirit!

We have just wrapped up 7 days on the Futaleufu with Bio Bio and it was a perfect trip. While not everyone on the family is an avid outdoorsperson, this trip was a great fit for the 6 of us with an excellent mix of adventure and comforts. Each aspect of the trip was spot on, from the logistics, to the lodging, food, rafting, fishing and safety. Every member of the staff, led by Lorenzo and Stan and are gracious, dedicated and highly experienced whitewater guides. They made us feel at home the moment we got there and took great care of us all week.

The tents and cabins are rustic, charming and comfortable. There is plenty of hot water for showers and the camp has two wood fired hot tubs with views of the river. The food is exceptional and the staff was able to accommodate each guest's diet, incluing vegan and gluten free. Most of the food, including the meat, is locally sourced and we had - amongst other things --parilla, lamb adobo , fish, and on Christmas eve, two spectacular turkeys.

My sons and I are avid fly fishermen so Lorenzo placed us with Alex, who is perhaps the most experienced fishing guide in the region. Mixed in between runs of Class 5 rapids, Alex would switch us from the raft to a cataract to throw flies at big rainbow trout and monster browns. We fished sections of the river that we accessible only after running multiple class 5 rapids and which I suspect are fished by only a few people each year.

This is a great trip for families with varying levels of interest in outdoor activities. For those who want to take risks, the rafting is some of the most challenging in the world. For those who like to fly fish in some of the most beautiful and remote places in the world, bio bio delivers. For those who like to eat and drink well, they have that covered too. Best trip ever.
