Our second time to this beautiful resort. Well kept. Clean. Tidy. They have made service upgrades since last time we've been here. Had a large family suite and 1 standard, since travelling with 6. Wifi was free to our surprise. They brought farm animals in, which was great. Plenty of beach spots with shade. Volleyball, soccer, fitness, inflatable water floater for kids, special daily dinner drinks, great MJ show, learn to dance in evening, casino (USD). Real coconut drinks, large variety of food, good mix of meats, sauce, salads, shakes, cheeses, breads, soups. Safe included. Small kids pool. They sure like to clean those rooms and drag those beds all around the room... I can hear them every morning... they woke me up.

Room Tip: Top floor, they have elevators, so no one is above you dragging those beds around! They have only 2 family suites on grounds.

Very nice place for a vacation. Orlando the chef in charge was awesome. He checked on guests repeatedly to make sure everything was good. Food was good and pool was clean. All staff were efficient and friendly. Check in was a little slow but overall it was a great time. Highly recommended!

I traveled with my boyfriend last May...it was incredible! We got there late in the afternoon and they had a room with pool view....great!
The room was clean and fresh. The AC was not turning off so we called and they came immediately to fix it.
The called us several times to see is everything was ok.
The food is great! You have so many choices...

The restaurants were good, but I prefer the buffets, you can choose whatever you want....and try different things.

The only thing I didn't like was how pushy they are trying to get you to attend a meeting with them so you comeback to the hotel. I think that if you tell them no several times, they should just leave you alone.

Other than that.....it's amazing! The beach is great and yes.....as many other comments say...you need to getup early a save a beach chair, otherwise by 9am most or them are already taken.
I highly recommend the Saona Island trip...it was incredible! But please bring a hat a sun blocker!!

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view....

The service was excellent,from the minute we arrived to the time we left. The food was great, the people were even better. The pool and the beach was the best part of the trip. The entertainment throughout the day was very good. I was hoping there was more to do for adults but overall the experience was great. Naty took great care of us.

Overall my husband and I enjoyed our trip to the Dominican Republic. The resort was beautiful and the room was excellent and clean. The food was average at the buffets (but aren't they all) and the seafood restaurant was OUT OF THE WORLD GOOD, except most of the staff was unfriendly!

However, food service employees were rude with attitudes. If you spoke minimal to no Spanish, they would ignore you, at certain times trying to get a water refill or even a drink beside water was impossible. My husband who is semi fluent in Spanish, overheard three employees at the buffet talking about "dumb americans," "fat americans" and "how they did not want to keep coming over to tables of americans." As tourism is a major part of the economy of DR you would think all people would be greeted with a positive attitude and made to feel welcomed on their trip. I would ignore their "side eye" and crappy attitudes because I was "on vacation" and I was not going let anyone ruin it for me. This is more of a "heads up" to americans traveling there soon.

This resort has entertainment staff called "Star Friends" they were some of the nicest, funniest and awesome people at the resort. They keep all guests entertained by organizing events for adults and children. They were always up and about on the beach, at the pool and throughout the resort. They really made me trip enjoyable. If you have the opportunity, the Dominicana resort has shoes nightly. We saw the Michael Jackson show, Rock show and Las Vegas show - totally awesome and out of the world!

The bar near the beach serves the best lunch. usually paella with giant prawns. excellent.
If you have the time organize a trip to Isla Saona, it is a breath-taking island.

It was a great trip and the island is beautiful. We enjoyed ourselves and will go back.

Room Tip: make nice with the maid service early on, they will hook up with fridge daily!
