Tsogo Sun lives up to its luxury and comfort in this warm and cosy hotel. Staff and service are excellent. Breakfast staff were most obliging and polite. Rooms are of superior quality and comfort. It is quite a small hotel, hence not much to do there. There is an average sized swimming pool and free-wifi was a bonus. There is a casino next door where you can spend your time. It is not a beach front hotel, and if you require a good view, then be sure to request a pool-facing room. Otherwise, you will be stuck with a view of the garden. It is a very peaceful and tranquil atmosphere and ambience and great place to just relax and just unwind without the hassle of the unnecessary sounds of the beach, traffic, people, etc

Room Tip: Ask for a pool-facing room, otherwise you will see trees and lawn

The staff at this hotel are magnificent. They are always obliging and extremely helpful. From management to all the staff helping to clear and clean.
A special mention to Gregory - the chef who made our breakfast. He made tasty food and even came around talking to all the guests asking if he could get us anything.
The ladies in the office helped us book some flights which saved us a lot of trouble.
This was the first stop on our holiday. We can only hope that the rest of the hotels will be this good.
Thank you to the staff.

My booking was handled efficiently telephonically three days earlier When we arrived we were bowled over by the reception staff who could not do enough for us. We are Seniors and they signed us up immediately for the special senior rate which applies to all the Tsogo Sun hotels in the country-two of which we have used before.
Our room was on ground floor level and let out to the small swimming pool and area. It was
large with all the usual appointments, mini fridge, T.V. aircon, tea/coffee, hair dryer etc.and a huge double bed. The bathroom was large with a bath and shower with everything in excellent condition. I see from a previous review that the hotel has been recently refurbished and it shows.
The breakfast disappointed somewhat- not the food which was excellent, but the juxtaposition of the giller/toaster/cereal dispenser etc which were all in the same area and causing a little congestion. I am sure that it can be easily overcome.and did not detract from our experience.
The hotel adjoins a Casino for which I will do a separate review.
All-in-all a very satisfying four star treatment at a three star rated hotel
Mossel Bay is 400kms from Capetown and an ideal place to stop over between there and Port Elizabeth. It is at the commencement of the Garden Route and the scenery of that route is outstanding

Room Tip: This is a relatively small hotel and all the rooms appear to overlook the pool area. We were on the ground floor which allowed us to stroll around.

We enjoyed our stay at the Garden Court. Room was refurbished, furniture could use some updating but it was ok. They have a great, small pool area with a deck overlooking the pool and ocean (though no beach access.) Free breakfast served until 10, which is nice. I would definitely recommend visiting the spa... We both got amazing massages.
