We stayed 5 minutes and booked somewhere else. We expected budget with the price but this was something else. The whole place was dirty, the toilet in the room stank (toilet in the room with nothing round it eg door/walls or even the curtain that was in the pictures) not too sure I want to be looking the mrs in the eyes whilst she’s laying a log
Was greeted by friendly staff and received a clean and neat room. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were all decent and clean. Had no issues with security, and all the other residents/people at the backpacker were very welcoming.
Overall a great place to stay, and well located. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for affordable and safe accommodation in Mosselbay.
Was a pleasant stay. The sheets were clean. the communal bathroom was ok. The communal kitchen was ok and there was a pub with pool table across the road. All in all good value. Is a busy street, but had a decent nights rest.
My stay at Shark Shack was great, would definitely recommend if you’re travellers looking for somewhere to stay that is a great price and central to loads of fun things to do! Willem was great and super knowledgeable, he showed us round the areas and pointed out the best places. Was a great stay, thank you. :)
We spent a week at Shark Shack in Dec 2021. And had a blast the manager and owner were both very friendly and hospitable and made our stay extra special. There was enough privacy to do our own thing but we were always welcomed with open arms to evening braais and a quick dop on the stoep.
Facilities clean and the back packers is in the absolute perfect spot to gain quick access to beaches, restaurants, and awesome fishing spots by foot.
