My family and I have frequented this place very many times over the past few years. This time it was a big disappointment. Basic amenities like hot water and electricity were not there. The back up generator would be switched on for just few hours and would not support the ACs. As a result we spent the better part of the night in dark and with mosquitoes, making it difficult for us to sleep. We had paid for amenities like gym and sauna, but both were shut down. We would have been better off staying at home rather than coming here since the weekend felt more of a punishment than a holiday!!

My family loved this place. It's a bit remote but that was not a problem for us. The staff members were great, they have great daily activities for the family that kept us busy throughout our stay. The rooms are huge, well-equipped and are kept clean. It's also ideal for self-catering guests.

We had a great family holiday here in 2011 and wanted to come back. The rooms were a little tired at the time and we used the ' Beach Boys' to arrange our trips for scuba diving and to the Masai Mara as they were cheaper.
HOWEVER, we will not return until these issues are sorted out.

This is my third visit to this venue and all I can say is that it's just getting worse. The place has been empty most of the times but now they are cuttings costs so much that when there is no power the genset only serves lights and not the Air conditioners. The staff are also rude and fault to escalate power issues to get them sorted. The rooms are poorly equipped and we actually had a cockroach on our bed while sleeping at night. They refuse to give insect spray for the rooms so even if you find any insects in the room you cannot kill them. I think they should just close the place down as the service is so bad that i feel they should stop making guests suffer anymore.

We have been several times before so knew what to expect. The resort had never been excellent but was acceptable. However this time it was so bad that we checked out after a few days and had to spend money on alternative accommodation. When we arrived the main pool was unclean with algae in it. We were told the filter was broken but it would be fixed the next day. It was not fixed and we spoke to one staff member who told us it had been like that since November and the management told them to keep on sAying it would be fixed tomorrow and to keep on giving excuses for duration of holiday. There was a secondary pool but after a few days this broke too so there was nowhere to swim. The children's pool was so green that one day we found a frog in it. Rooms were dirty as was the gym which was also full of broken equipment. Electricity kept going off and the hotels generator intermittently came on but only for lights which meant no hot water and no air con. The tv only had 2 channels and a notice flashed up to say no more channels as subscription not paid. No internet service although they took money for it which they then refused to refund. Telephones did not work even from the room to reception so we had to walk over which was no big deal but it turned out phones had been disconnected. I had no hair dryer in our room so I told reception (bear In mind only 3 couples on whole resort) and they told me they were too busy to deal with me. Ordered food a couple of times but gave up on this as many key items not on menu e.g. Chicken salad with no salad! The bar ran out of wine, Bacardi, vodka and Coke. We also found out staff not paid for 2 and half months so they had lost all motivation to work
Tennis court was more a weed patch with no net that needed resurfacing. The basket ball board had no ring on it. The mini golf was in a terrible state.
We feel this resort should be closed down. There is not one good thing to say about it
DO NOT GO.
