Description: We have closed for our regular 2018 season, but will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm for the following dates: Nov. 30, Dec. 1 & 2, Dec. 21 & 22, 23 and Dec. 28, 29, & 30, weather permitting. We had a great year and appreciate all who stopped by to have a meal with us, or stayed in one of our rooms or cabins, or just stopped by to enjoy the view from the back balcony. We will reopen for regular hours early March 2019. Cliff House Inn and Restaurant overlooks the Arkansas Grand Canyon. We are a seasonal business open from early March through the first to second weekend in November. (It depends on the fall leaves on the trees as to when we close in November. Call for hours after the first weekend in Nov). Restaurant hours during our season are 8 am to 2:45 pm Sunday through Thursday and 8 am to 7:45 pm Friday and Saturday. We have a 5 unit motel and 3 cabins. The cabins are open year-round.

Catfish and Chicken Fried Steak is wonderful! The view is peaceful and we got to watch the hummingbirds with the beautiful Ozark Grand Canyon in the background. The Owners would walk around and talk to each of the guests and they were very knowledgeable of the area. Great service.

My husband and I stopped in and ate lunch here on our way up to Branson, MO for the weekend. We were there on a Friday, but it still wasn't crowded and were seated right away. Our table was great, and we had perfect views of the "cliff" and surrounding mountains, etc. The food is fantastic! It's like your grandmother cooked just for you. I had the Chicken Fried Chicken and it was OH so good. It was a little chilly that day, but the food warmed me right up. I would highly recommend you stop in and eat whenever you get the chance. My favorite part was the biscuits! Melt in your mouth, yum. We will always stop and eat whenever we pass through Jasper.

We stop in every year to have breakfast at the Cliff House and it is always a real treat. The HAM and eggs are awesome and the biscuits & gravy are in their own league. The service is fantastic and the owners are happy to serve with a smile too! The open deck with the view alone is worth the drive/ride. They are BIKER friendly and most times you will see a dozen or so Harleys in front... especially when we are in town. I hear their Lunches and Dinners are just as good too. I recommend this place to anyone wanting a down home meal with a great a view of the Arkanasas Grand Canyon.

Cliff House Inn & Restaurant should be categorized separately as both a hotel and restaurant.

Fabulous view of the “Grand Canyon of the Ozarks” from the restaurant and deck. I’ve dined there a couple of times with our photography group and stayed in one of their rooms. The food is good quality home cooking in a nice relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. A great way to end a day full of sight-seeing. Don’t look for a fine dining experience with white linen tablecloths, china and crystal. The dining room was closed after lunch on the Sunday we stayed there.

Lovely views in the spring and breath-taking views in the autumn.

We stayed in April this year in the small suite at one end of the Inn. Gorgeous views from the sitting room and from the deck a short way down the hill from the room. The room was reasonably clean but the carpeting is ready for replacement, the furniture in the sitting room was older but reasonably comfortable and had a gas fireplace. Not many lodging alternatives in Jasper and this is one of the better ones. We visited friends from our group in their room and the standard room was a bit small, but adequate for an overnight stay.

We stopped at the Cliff House Restaurant several years ago on our way down Scenic Hwy. 7. Fog had made driving rather stressful and we wanted to relax and unwind a little.. Although we were seated next to the window, all we could see was a layer of fog across the valley as we looked down on the clouds from above. The food was homemade and delicious, and we were fascinated by the swarm of tiny hummingbirds feeding at a feeder on the small deck outside the window. Suddenly, the fog lifted and we were treated to the incredible sight of the "Grand Canyon of the Ozarks" stretching out before us. The wispy fragments were gilded by the sun as it rose toward its zenith. I can't adequately explain the incredible beauty of the scene, but I will remember ti for the rest of my life. It truly was a maagical sight. We have tried to return a couple times since, but hours are limited certain times of the year, so check before going to avoid disappointment.. We intend to stay at the attached Inn for the fall foliage. If you want sophisticated dining, skip this. If you enjoy amazing natural beauty and simple rustic charm, along with delicioius "homestyle" cooking, you will enjoy this place.
