First time experiencing African Safaris. Just amazing. It's not as crowded as Kruger, which we visited later on. A great range of different animals. Be here as early as you can to avoid the heat in the afternoon.

Wonderful experience with beautiful scenery and lots of animals. We saw Cape buffalo, lions, rhinos, elephants, wart hogs and other wildlife...close up and personal!!! Park is large and is supporting the dwindling rhino poplulation. Poachers continue to decimate these magnificent creatures although game reserves like this do everything they can to protect and proliferate their numbers....this was an excellent experience and certainly makes one want to go on a longer safari. A full day very well spent.

We have done safaris in East Africa so this was a different type of experience. Instead of broad vistas and Savanna's, this is hilly bush country. We saw the requisite number of big mammals including Cape Buffaloes, lions, Rhinos etc and enjoyed the views.
Photos are tough without big lenses because you are not allowed off road but as is the case in every safari, it is the joy of the "hunt".
