Good place to rest alone or with your family, with good restaurants. Hot and calm waters as almost all of the Caribe.

If you like to surf, this beach has perfect waves for surfing, for beginers and pro. Not so much local dealers, quite and clean. I had my first surfboard on this beach, local friend just made present for me :)

Probably the least expensive beach in the world, with white sand, blue transparent Caribbean sea. Except for weekends beach not crowded and easily reached by taxi
or rented Car. Playa el Agua 15 minutes away another beautiful beach just cleaned up by local government, again with rock bottom prices .
But.........but...... Venezuela is at the moment a dangerous country to visit, you have to be very careful specially at night. Locals have adapted to the new situation so if you are adventurous (And a bargain hunter) willing to sacrifice late night outings you might just consider going to Margarita called " La Perla del Caribe".
Another important detail American citizens need a visa for Venezuela for the moment.
