“Brilliant stay in a lovely cottage.”

Lovely and relaxing. Owners go out of the way for a cosy cottage stay. The spa bath and shower is excellent with small touches such as candles.

“A fantastic place to unwind and enjoy”
Reviewed 9 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

The Dovecote exceeded our expectations. It had everything that we needed and although places were within easy reach by car there were lovely walks nearby. It certainly was not a chore to have to stay in the garden or property either, making full use of the hot tub! The owners were so generous with their support and advice too and helped to further enhance our stay. We'll be back!

“Comfortable, quiet location”
Reviewed 6 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Lovely home from home. Great location, very private and beautiful setting. Great deck area overlooking pond. Many bird visitors to garden. Lovely spa bath for 2 in conservatory, just perfect after long coastal path walks. Also conservatory lovely place to sit and read. The Pembrokeshire Coastal bus service is great from various locations a few miles away allowing you to park your car, catch the bus further one and walk back. Bed very comfortable. Wifi very reliable as mobile reception non existent, A well equipped comfortable base within beautiful countryside. A visit to Ramsey Island is great. Highly recommended all round.

Management Response

Glad you had such a nice time. The mobile reception can be pretty poor in this area but this is not helped by the thick stone walls of the cottage. Most networks have an adequate reception in the sun room. We tend to leave ours out there to receive incoming calls.

“Book this place”
Reviewed 8 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Here at Dovecote and if you want piece and quite in a beautiful location then you must book this place! Never been to Pembrokeshire before and I have to say that it's a real Jewel and a stunning area. Roads can be very narrow so take your time , found a place called Mwnt Bay and with the sun shinning it's a glorious little beach, again really narrow road down to it only wide enough for 1 car but there are passing places. Cardigan is also lovely, try a deli called "food for thought" there ham, egg and pea pie is awesome. As a local said Pembrokeshire is like Cornwall without the crowds and he was right. Get yourself down here and enjoy. Ps good for cycling to but beware you are either going up or down, and the ups can be steep!!
