Nice little cafe. Portions are a fair size my ganet of a son was full and didn’t finish his breakfast so. The lady who served us was pleasant nice to have a chat to. The only downside was not accepting card as the machine was broken. But that being said the lady directed us to the nearest cash point witch wasn’t far away. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good breakfast!!

Popped in here as we wanted a light lunch. Have to say inside it was a bit run down which I was surprised at considering the ratings given on this site.
We ordered drinks and snacks. The cakes were 'homemade' but I would have to say the food was poor and the drinks were like dishwater. We had paid before getting the meal and drinks so rather than get into a discussion we left both and the 'restaurant'. I see this review page calls it a cafe but their business card calls it a restaurant. I would say it needs some TLC.
We noticed that a youg lady was 'cleaning' the stairs while we were there using a mop which looked like it had just cleaned the streets. Disappointing to say the least.

Found the Priory almost by accident on a Saturday evening. Upstairs dining room was moderately busy and everyone appeared satisfied with their meals. We had sea trout and the house burger specials, both promptly prepared and well presented.
Washed down with a glass of local beer, what's not to like.
This place is not about how it looks but the food. Try it

A really lovely fish and chip shop/ cafe
With very good, pleasant service. Sometimes there can be a bit of a queue but it's worth waiting for.
