Stayed here for 1 night with partner and 11 year old daughter at the cost of £95 (!) With breakfast.
Pros -
Staff friendly
Beds were comfy
Bedding was clean
Good location
Free private car park

Cons -
Carpets threadbare
Peeling paint
View of a wall out of the window
Shower was pitiful, either boiling or freezing
Crockery in dining room was dirty
Lamps were hanging off wall
Woken up by a valve in the plumbing making a horrendous noise at midnight
Poor value for money

Comfy bed, good hot shower. Rooms probably do need upgraded but our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Most importantly about this hotel are the staff and guests. 5 star has been given as the staff were so friendly and helpful. Ronnie couldn't do enough to help and the girl at reception was so efficient and welcoming. We met lots of lovely people and will have fond memories of Ullapool.

After reading previous reviews about this hotel I was not really looking forward to staying here but we could not get booked in anywhere else. Turns out it was better than I expected.
The hotel is very shabby, dated and run down but to be fair our room was clean.
The woman who checked us in was very friendly and efficient.
Staff at breakfast were fantastic. We were given a warm welcome and excellent service. Our breakfast was very good with lots of options.
The hotel needs a fortune spent on it to bring the accommodation up to standard however it definitely has great potential.

Very dissatisfied considering the cost of staying here for two nights.
Hotel is rundown and in desperate need of repair. Plans to re-furbish apparently. Walls too thin, I could listen to adjacent rooms TV, conversation and snoring.
Staff were helpful and did their best, I felt sorry for them.
Breakfast was pretty good though probably the only good thing.

Room tip: I cant imagine any of the hotel is of decent standard.

Hotel was comfortable, room was clean and bed comfy.
Staff were very friendly and helpful .
Obviously due to covid situation, they were unable to serve meals, but there were a few good choices available around the town
Breakfast was available and it was good, with the choices of full breakfast or continental.
