“Peace and tranquility ”
Reviewed 30 November 2016 for a stay in November 2016

The wife and I have just returned back after a short break here with the kids, also the brother in law and his kids. Wow blown away with the size of the place, fantastic location for sightseeing, our hosts Juliet and Alan made us most welcome upon our arrival, with Alan's tour of the place very informative and sussed the kids right away " wi-fi" code and then the games room, nicely done Sir.
The house is spotless and very homely and the home baking upon our arrival was a lovely touch. Everything you need for cooking is there, and the nearest supermarket is 15mins away. So enjoy the peace and quiet away from the world.
Definitely want to go back again and book the motorbike and sidecar tour in the nicer weather. My daughter loved feeding the llamas and thanks to Juliet for this experience .
There knowledge of places of interest to visit is great, with things suitable for all ages.

Thank you for the great review. Alan susses kids out quickly because he is a big kid! The llamas were pleased to meet your daughter and we would be delighted if you came back again, and booked a sidecar trip in the sunshine. I hope P's mother is able to visit us next time as well.

“Ruby Wedding celebration holiday”
Reviewed 11 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We had a fantastic week with all our children and their families - 8 adults and 5 children - helped by a week of glorious sunshine and blue skies. The house is very pleasant, with plenty of room and very well equipped kitchens. Renewable energy and 'green' cleaning products were appreciated. We made good use of the garden and the games room/cinema, where grand parents could slink off to watch a film without waking the children in the evening! Juliet was very welcoming and helpful. The children loved the Llamas and hens.

We hired a chef to cook our evening meals and this proved to be a great idea. Juliet can provide the contact details for Estralita & Ian Murray, who with her colleague Amanda provided us with delicious meals made (as requested) with local and organic produce, and were all extremely friendly and helpful.

“Birthday Bliss”
Reviewed 22 January 2016 for a stay in January 2016

We stayed at the coach house to celebrate my husbands birthday. There were 11 adults and 3 children. Everyone of all ages had a great time. We fed and walked Llamas, had epic snowball fights, table tennis tournaments, table football and air hockey. Not to mention the amount of space we all had to relax in. At no point during the weekend did it feel we were under each other's feet as the house is very well laid out and decorated to a very high standard. We had everything we needed and Juliet and Alan were on hand for anything else. They were very accommodating and wonderful with the kids. The underfloor heating was a lovely treat and along with the stove fires the house was always toasty. Perfect for a snowy winter day. This is a place I would love to return to in the future. Perhaps in the spring/summer when it would be easier to go for walks.
