A group of 8 of us visiting the area booked to go to this restaurant on a Sunday evening there is a large parking area at the front but when we arrived at 6.45pm it was full.
The decor is pleasant, one of my party heard someone say they were short staffed and as we were a large group we expected a delay.
The lighting makes it hard to read the menu and the background music was something unidentifiable and tinny.
The food was lovely, the main courses of spaghetti/pasta are filling, several of us had a spaghetti with smoked salmon and samphire which we all enjoyed. My husband had a trio of fish which looked good.
Unfortunately the disjointed service was not great and both the waitresses were sullen, not a smile passed their lips, such a shame as we all commented to each other about it.
Food was a positive, customer service experience a negative. Hope they were just having an off day.
