“Quiet, comfortable and very convenient”
Reviewed 25 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We stayed at Claremont for a fishing trip and once again found it very peaceful and very comfortable as well as being extremely convenient for a quick walk into the town centre.
The walk can take you along the bank of the Tweed past one of the most famous beats, The Junction.
Highly recommend this very well equipped house for a short or long break.

“An excellent stay”
Reviewed 25 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Claremont is a lovely house is a nice quiet part of Kelso, yet only a short walk from all the facilities the town has to offer. The shops, restaurants and bars are only a couple of minutes walk away. The house is very well looked after, in pristine condition and very clean. There are two twin bedrooms and one double and three bathrooms, which is perfect for visitors as there is no waiting for the facilities. Unusually for a holiday property of this nature following a recent tasteful extension there is now a spacious dining room which adds to the quality of the property..

“Beautiful, spacious, well equipped house on a quiet road, seconds from Kelso town centre”
Reviewed 9 January 2014 for a stay in September 2013

A group of four of us stayed at Claremont whilst on a fishing trip on the Teviot at the beginning of Autumn 2013. We were so pleased to be out of London for the weekend and Claremont was so clean, spacious and comfortable, we were sorry to leave after just a short weekend. The house is superbly located and is a stone's throw away from the shops, pubs and restaurants in Kelso and also the river at the end of the lane. There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for larger groups and a downstairs bedroom would be good for people with disabilities. We didn't catch any fish, but it was a job to come back to Claremont after a long day trying!
Many thanks for having us.
