great hosts, great holiday rental, great views from the balcony and living room window. church stretton has pubs doing food, supermarkets for your essentials, a butchers and many cafes.

short drive (or trains available) to both ludlow and shrewsbury, and ironbridge and RAF museum also within reach.

we left a phone charger and this was sent back to us, many thanks Maureen and Peter.

“The best view in Church Stretton?”

Redwood Heights occupies an elevated position with extensive views over Church Stretton to the hills beyond. The location is excellent for those who wish to explore the many gems in Shropshire. Church Stretton itself is an attractive little town with a supermarket, restaurants, an ancient church and a busy railway station. The accommodation is located above the large garage shown in the picture. It is accessed via the rear of the main house and up wooden steps onto a large sun terrace facing west towards the Shropshire hills - perfect for a sundowner tipple at the end of the day. The living room is spacious and a huge picture window offers the same wonderful view of the Shropshire hills referred to earlier. Two supremely comfortable leather armchairs face this window, and if the weather keeps you indoors, you can still enjoy that view in total comfort!
The low eves in the kitchen and bathroom may give 6' tall people a few headaches but I would say this is a small price to pay for the advantages of this accommodation. Peter and Maureen are most charming and welcoming hosts.

“A Delightfully Memorable Week”
Reviewed 31 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Maureen and Peter were perfect hosts and made every effort to ensure our comfort and were available whenever we had questions about our accommodation or the surrounding area. They generously invited us to their home one evening. Our flat was within an easy walk to Church Stetton and its gourmet food, interesting shops and pleasant walks. In fact it is a walkers' paradise catering to every level of expertise and fitness. There was a beautiful view from our flat and balcony across the valley to the Long Mynd and it's walking paths. Many places of interest in Shropshire are an easy drive away. The flat, although not new, is well equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable holiday.
