“a great week...just what we needed”
Reviewed 4 March 2012 for a stay in February 2012

Just had a lovely week in Coastguards Cottage in Staithes. The previous week had been a particularly difficult one for us, so we were ready for a holiday, and the cottage and Staihes didn't disappointment. We were surpised how large the cottage was...we only used one of the bedrooms!! The bed is large and comfy, and the cottage offered every amenity. The log burner was FAB!!.It was used every night, despite the lovely warm days we had up there! Staithes is very quirky...the hill to the car park was a bit of a trial for us oldies but we got pretty fit by the end of our stay!I We would definately recommend Coastguards Cottage to anyone!!!

“Fabulous Cottage in Staithes”
Reviewed 12 January 2012 for a stay in January 2012

Stayed for a long weekend at the beginning of January 2012. Cottage was superb, spotlessly clean and homely. Comfy Beds, lovely log burner in sitting room and we even had the range going in the brillant dining kitchen which was fabulous for us to eat, drink and be merry in! All mod cons and such a atmospheric three storey cottage in lovely Staithes. Walking distance to pubs, the beach and places to eat and a Co Operative foodstore at the top of the Hill. Highly Recommended. Super Friendly owners.
