Ok so this is two miles north of Port Mulgrave but who can resist including a view like this...
Sun on the sea from outside the back door.
Dawn from the back door - not a bad way to start the day!!
Looking down into Runswick Bay - about 1 mile from the cottage

“Back for a second time and it was just as good as the first”
Reviewed 4 weeks ago for a stay in April 2018

We came back here in April after having a lovely time in September last year. The house is perfect: clean, quiet, comfortable and beautifully situated. The sea views are stunning and there's nothing better than an evening stroll along the coastal path before tea. We're looking forward to going again

“Lovely Homely Cottage with Amazing Sea Views”
Reviewed 30 April 2018 for a stay in April 2018

We stayed at this lovely cottage for the weekend of 27-29th April. The cottage felt so homely, it is beautifully decorated and furnished and there was ample room for all 6 of us. The bed was the comfiest bed I have ever slept in and the view of the sea when you first wake up and look out of the bedroom window is what everyone should experience at least once! As a bonus, you get the view again when eating breakfast at the dining room table. We loved the thoughtful little touches, like the welcome card and chocolates. The cottage has everything you could need, even board games to entertain the little ones. We enjoyed playing chess and 'Tell me' in the evening and it was a pleasant 10 minute drive to Whitby where the kids enjoyed crabbing, running from the waves, digging, skimming pebbles, donkey rides, chocolate waffles, ice-cream, fish and chips and more. We had a lovely meal one night at 'The Brown Cow' pub down the road. We hopefully will return soon as we all loved it. Thank you Phil & Rachel.
