The bright double bedroom windows look out towards the sea and the Cobb
The custom built superking bed in the second bedroom can be unlocked/unzipped to form 2 single beds
The living room can be closed both ends when the sofabed is in use - making a gorgeous third bedroom
Downstairs bathroom with WC, shower and bath.
The upstairs bathroom with WC and shower.
The back stairs offer a second means of access to the house.
The garden path is made up of local 200 million year old blue lias stone.

“Beautiful Dorset coastguard cottage”

Spent a lovely long weekend at Lyme Cottage with family at the end of June 2013 and we had a wonderful time! The cottage is in a perfect location for the beach and Cobb and has all the mod cons packaged nicely in a refurbished character property.

The famously late British summer had just started and we were lucky to enjoy wall to wall sunshine the whole weekend. The French doors open out on to the decking which leads on to the garden making the house feel very open and airy. The glass doors at the back also open out fully on to an internal courtyard which is a lovely evening suntrap.

There were lots of lovely touches such as welcome gifts, dressing gowns, an internet-enabled TV and big soft fluffy towels!

I would highly recommend staying here if you want a relaxing and comfortable stay on the Dorset coast.
