“A beautiful, tranquill, comfortable, relaxing retreat with all that you need.”
Reviewed 16 November 2013 for a stay in October 2013

The farmhouse is extensive with plenty of room for everyone. It has some wonderful features including a fully functioning Victorian shower - an experience not to be missed!
The house is very warm with full central heating, an Aga in the kitchen & woodburner in the lounge which makes for a cosy retreat in the evenings.
Set in the middle of 120 acres, with the Avon river running through, it is the perfect location to get away from it all, while you are still only a short drive from the many excellent sandy beaches of the South Hams.
The games room proved to be a hit with training equipment including a multigym & a table tennis table for the more energetic and a snooker table for a more relaxing frame or two!
Chris, the estate manager, & Charlie, the owner were extremely friendly and welcoming, offering much help and advice; nothing was too much trouble, especially when my father was unfortunately taken ill during our stay.
I would thoroughly recommend Yeo Farm with its old character & charm for getting away from it all and recharging the batteries!

“A fantastic place to stay”

We stayed in early October for a week with my wifes extended family, ages ranging from under one year to over 80. Without exception everyone had a fantastic time. Charles the owner and Chris the manager were extremely helpful with advice on what to see and do. The property itself is great with lovely rooms and some wonderful period touches including an Aga and a Victorian shower and the grounds are delightful, we were fishing in the river most days or playing snooker in the games room if the weather was less good.

The surrounding area has lots to explore and any number of great pubs and restaurants if cooking on the Aga has lost it's appeal.

The whole family agreed we'd like to return.

This venue did everything on the tin plus plus plus! Our annual trip to England to see friends and family was enhanced this year by our choice of Yeo Farm. With only a week we needed only to venture out for supplies. the facilities both man-made and courtesy of mother nature were superb.
We fished, swam, walked, picnicked, played snooker, explored the secret garden, flew kites - a holiday that took many of us adults back to our childhood - and showed children how to have fun without electronics.

“Great house, perfect setting; something for everybody”
Reviewed 7 May 2013 for a stay in April 2013

Our family of eight enjoyed a week at Yeo Farm over Easter. The scale of the estate is hard to describe (it’s huge), but the friendly and relaxed atmosphere of the place almost certainly comes from Charles, the owner, and from his general manager, Chris. Even at the end of a fine week; of walking and exploring through frosty mornings and sunny days, we felt that we had barely scratched the surface. Between us we swam in the river (despite the frost); used the trampoline (a lot), and made good use of the needle shower.

The location is great for the coast, for Dartmoor and for South Devon; the property is excellent, and lends itself very well to extended family gatherings (even with 3 or more generations). There really is something for everybody. It is a month since we left Yeo Farm, but it lives long in the memory - it’s a great place, and we had a great holiday.

“Another great stay at Yeo Farm- Perfect Get-away”

Well we enjoyed it so much the first time we visited Yeo Farm we went back again.

Once again a large group of us (11) spent 3 nights over New Years at Yeo Farm and once again we had an excellent time. Log fire was roaring when we arrived and Chris the manager was there to greet us. I forgot how large the farm house is. We all unpacked and then spread out through out the house, some enjoying a chat around the large kitchen table warming up near the aga, others chilling out in the large living room watching the TV and enjoying the log fire.

Unfortunatley the weather on New Years eve was awful but there is plently of things to do if the weather is not so good. With the best addition to last years visit being a games room, with a snooker table, table tennis table, gym and wood burning stove (was hard to not stay in there the whole 3 days)

We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner Charles this year who was only too pleased to advise on where to go out eating and what there is to do in grounds of Yeo Farm and the surrounding area.

I would recommend Yeo Farm or the other properties there to anyone. Its perfect and can't wait to go back there again.
