4 of us travelled down and played on a reciprocal deal so value for money was great. Very friendly and relaxed pro welcomed us, pleasant club house.
The course itself was fun, not long but challenging enough, some quaint holes, the "gap" hole almost unique.
Greens in good nick with enough borrows to be interesting. Food in club after was excellent - had the fish. Would recommend to anyone.

Starting with the Golf, this is not a long course but it’s an interesting layout with some tricky holes. It’s ideal for a day out playing a relaxing round. The only downside when we were there were the greens which a little slow. The food here is excellent I can particularly recommend the steak pie - full of meat and lovely pastry.

The pro could not have been more helpful and the food was good. An unusual set up but the course was fun and in good condition. The views over Honiton and the valleys were worth the visit. We will certainly return when we are in the area. The club is clearly thriving and the members made us very welcome.

I had a great round at Honiton. It has a unusual layout but when you get used to it it’s a good test of golf without being silly. The clubhouse is good as is the hospitality. I found the members very welcoming and everybody talked to me unlike my own club which is very “clicky” the only downside is that the course stays wet and can be boggy.

Played the course a couple of days ago and it was a real treat. The course was well looked after, the fairways perfectly cut and the greens in very good shape given the time of year. The staff were very friendly to us visiting the course for the first time and most of the members on the course were also courteous. I don't know if it was for us as guests but the course staff changed all the pins at the beginning of the round for us (it was temporary greens in the morning due to the frost) which was a really nice touch. Would highly recommend to anyone at any standard who would enjoy a great round of golf with outstanding views on the South West Coast.
