We have just returned from a most wonderful week at the fabulous Puffins and this place really is perfect! We arrived on a beautiful sunny evening so we're able to immediately make the most of the lovely patio area to enjoy the sea views. It isn't just the outdoor space that makes Puffins so special though, we were surprised at how specious and well presented the indoor space was too. The pictures really don't do it justice. With its lovely open plan living space positioned to take full advantage of the stunning views and the 3 well sized bedrooms we really were spoilt for space. The furnishings are really lovely and comfy and all of very high quality. There is a large well equipped kitchen area good size dining table and lovely living space. The main bedroom also has stunning sea views and is lovely and spacious with great en suite facilities. Treyarnon bay is just a 30 second walk away and is a gorgeous family beach and Constantine bay was a 5 minute walk just around the corner....you really are spoilt for choice here! We all had such a wonderful week at the lovely Puffins and were so sad to leave but we will definatley be back soon! Thank you Puffins and Cornish sea view cottages for a really magical week.
Photos don't do this rental justice . Much bigger than photos indicate. Everything so comfortable. Love how close the beach is, and the plus side is allowing dogs here. The heating wasn't working when we arrived, but Mike ( manager?) came immediately and tried to fix it himself . No luck ,but arranged for someone to come out. Not sure I would stay here in peak season, as the area would be so popular, but we are already working out our next stay.
Puffin is in a perfect location to watch the ocean in all its forms - smashing waves in a storm to surf and soft waves rolling into shore. Also a short walk to Constantine Bay. Very comfortable and roomy with all modern amenities.
The photos don't do it justice, better spec and more spacious than we expected. in an excellent position for access to the beach and coast path, - literally yards away. Fantastic kitchen and bathrooms and very comfortable beds. No problems with parking as we were the only ones on the complex! Very peaceful this time of year.
Everything you need for your stay, except a chopping board!, and the only very slight negative was that the outside lights were not working but a good torch was provided so didn't bother to report it. An excellent out of season rental and very dog friendly as well as a perfect base for the Padstow Xmas festival which is highly recommended.

What a superb rental, perhaps rental under describes puffins..a beautiful home from home ,luxurious and everything you could ask for when on holiday and more..little shop 50yds away ,food van and a quiet beach, everthing you need...10 minutes drive from pad stow and 20 from Newquay.....THE DOWN SIDES..for all puffins commands a lovely view we spent most evenings looking at the side of a Mercedes four wheel drive and a van that owned a property further up the road which also meant we couldn't park on our drive, the road being quite narrow..the attitude seemed to be they owned there's and we were just renters ,so tough...the access road to tryarnon bay and puffins is extremely narrow,we have a four wheel drive and trying to pass oncoming vehicles requires very tentative manoeuvring ,usually ending up a bank going through the bushes.....the downsides don't reflect on puffins itself it's phenomenal in decor and fittings,John Lewis labels everywhere ...one little niggle, the welcome pack,in a thousand pound a week property I didn't expect the it to resemble what the previous tenant had left!!a pint of milk in a four pint container,a new unopened one Pinter would have been nicer.half a dozen tea bags an egg cupful of coffee isn't consistent with the property quality or cost neither was the clumps of hair under two of the beds
