“Can't wait to go back”

We visited just two weeks after the devastating tidal surge, but the people of Blakeney had made a grand job of clearing up the village and quay and everything was just lovely. The cottage was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with good quality showers and bedding. The Kings Arms Pub, just over the drive provided excellent fish and chips and the wonderful local supermarket (again just around the corner and open all hours) had everything else needed. There are stunning views from the cottage over the marshes to Blakeney Point which was brilliant for the bird watchers in our party and the location is also ideal for visiting Cley Spy Nature reserve and cafe!. Can't wait to go again.

“Great location, great house, great views”
Reviewed 22 November 2012 for a stay in November 2012

This house couldn't be better located - just a stroll to the quay - half a dozen steps to the back entrance to the local pub and the Spar shop around the corner which seems to be open every waking hour - and well stocked. The house worked well for us - we had access to the garage to lock our bikes and be able to come into the hall and shower without worrying about making the rest of the house muddy. The kitchen is well equipped - fastest most effective toaster I have ever used - the upstairs room has a lovely view over the marshes and the beds are extremely comfy. We love Norfolk out of season and would definitely return to Blakeney and to The Saltings.

We're happy that you were so impressed by the toaster, but the credit for that will have to go to Dualit and not us! We love the views from the property and since your visit we have replaced the double doors in bedroom 2 with ones which give an improved view from inside. We hope you decide to visit again in future.

“Best view in Blakeney”
Reviewed 4 November 2012 for a stay in October 2012

Superb modern terraced house with a unique internal layout which maximises the view over the marshes. At first sight it looks as though this property is in an odd location. As soon as you start exploring you realise that this property is in a superbly convenient location. It's comfortable and well equipped. We will definitely return
