This was our second visit to this hotel and we were very pleased again with the room and the service from the lovely staff. Many people seem to go there year after year. We only ate breakfast there every day but sometimes took lunch at sea level which is busy but nice.

Room Tip: It is, in my opinion, worth paying for the rooms with balconies on which you can smoke but accept the sound of the sea 24 hours per day.

This hotel is in a fantastic location right in the centre of Nerja which is amazing. It is the only 4 star hotel in the centre of the town. This was our second visit to the hotel. The last time were there in peak season this time we were towards the end of the season. We are in out early 30s and were probably at least 30 years younger than any other guests in the hotel. At this time the guests were considerably older. Breakfast was excellent and view was amazing. Our room was a superior suite. For a suite the bathroom was very small with shower and bath in one very small unit.
For a honeymoon trip the hotel left us a bottle of cava in our room as a lovely gesture.

The beds were two single beds pushed together and made separate bedlinen. Not ideal for honeymooners.

I rented a car with parking charged at 15 euro a day. Car park is not for the faint hearted. Entrance is on a very very steep incline. The car park is not linked to the hotel is a walk across the square and down steps. They clearly rent a number of spaces. We had really heavy rain one day and the car park began to flood from drains. It was raw sewerage so not ideal for 15 euro a day.
This was cleaned up after I told reception but smell remained.

Just to be clear the actual hotel is extremely clean and could not fault the standards by the staff who clean.

English speaking front desk concierge Manuel was extremely friendly he even remembered us from our last visit which is a credit to the hotel. The front desk staff and cleaning staff were always friendly and approachable.

Would we be back yes but not in late September or early October. To be frank it was like a nursing home which differed to the amazing summer experience we had before

Positive for staff, cleaning, breakfast and location.

Wifi is excellent and towels for private beach are a nice touch

Thirds stay at this hotel last being 3 years previous still as good if not better. Same quality amongst the staff pleasant helpful warm and welcoming the food top quality, we had half board looking out over the sea while eating is just the perfect setting. There as been the introduction of a 9th floor sun patio
For those who like it quieter looking over the palm trees and Balcón walk. Also a steam room didn’t use this so cannot comment but going by the quality standards set here be surprised if it’s anything other than the same standard. The rooms are as clean as any I’ve ever used the hotel cleaning staff are themselves helpful pleasant and very good at their jobs. The beach is apparently now not exclusive to the hotel
Guests but to be honest this was not a issue nice to be amongst local family’s and Spanish holiday makers plenty of room to sun bath the hotel still providing beds and towels with the sea being as safe as any were treated with respect. There were life guards walking the several coves and beaches through out the day. Booked again roll on September 2019

We stopped for breakfast and then again for lunch. We ate on the patio next to the balcony of Europe. The location is unbeatable. The food and service was great. Good prices too. Elegant lobby and clean washrooms.
But it's all about the location.

We went to this hotel for a family
members wedding. It got off to a bad start as the transfer could not
take us to the hotel due to road
works. The driver didn’t inform us of
how to get to the hotel or inform the staff
we had arrived which was a shame! Lucky we found our hotel rep in a random street who managed to sort us out a lift by the hotel staff. After travelling with a 14 month old in 28 degree heat all day this was not an ideal start.

However, the hotel was fantastic! The staff were friendly and very helpful. We had a room with a sea view and it was stunning! Words don’t describe how beautiful and romantic the views are!

We went with our 14 month old, the hotel itself isn’t child friendly...it’s mainly
for couples. It doesn’t have child entertainment or anywhere for a baby to crawl around. However the staff did as
much as they possibly could to accommodate us! They made such a fuss of our son and made us all feel very welcome. It’s was fantastic! We had a cot in our room and spent most days in the pool or on the beach within the hotel.

We never struggled for tables at meal times or sun loungers, the food was absolutely beautiful and the drinks were of a high standard. The hotel was also very very clean!

The gym facilities were good! They have a wide range of weights, cross trainer, treadmill etc.

The hotel is right in the centre of Nerja, which was ideal! Plenty of entertainment at night therefore it wasn’t really missed in the hotel itself.

If it wasn’t for the transfer not directing us to the hotel we wouldn’t have a bad word to say about the place!
