“Family Holiday Together”
Reviewed 31 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

There were 12 in our family party of which two were small babies. what a fantastic place to relax and enjoy a holiday with everything you need. the car journey was also an exciting time for the young children who could see the sea and were guessing which villa was ours for our holiday. so good we are now trying to get a date to return and again enjoy a great place to stay and unwind.

“perfect”
Reviewed 3 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

our extended family of 8 ranging from 18 to 63 stayed for a week in september

the villa was perfect with outstanding accommodation - excellent in every way - the views from the villa and pool are loveley and there is everything you need - with 3 teenage girls the number of bathrooms was heaven sent!!!!

we could have stayed put for the entire week but did visit Nerja and the caves

we had a 21st and a 30th birthday during our stay and had a celebration at El Avalon restaurant at the bottom of the hill which we would thoroughly recommend (make sure you book) - they were so helpful and accommodating

the drive up to the villa is interesting but you soon get used to it

all in all a perfect villa for a large group - the owners are very helpful - no hesitation in recommending the villa - you can't go wrong - we would definitely go back

“Lovely spainish style villa.”
Reviewed 20 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

This a a great place for a family holiday we are 3 days from returning home, Not going to moan like others about the cost of taxis as it is what it is. The drive up is a bit nervy but if I can do it anyone can. I hate heights and they are some parts that have unprotected cliff drops but like I say if I can do it anyone can. We had a large vw transporter diesel and if you stay in first gear it's fine. The more you do it the easier it becomes. The villa is lovely and has everything you need from sky tv and wifi to a nice BBQ. If it's the first time in nerja you will love it, so much so we are thinking of buying here.

Noel is an absolute gent and couldn't have helped enough. You don't need air con as the ceiling are high and the breeze through is refreshing. Many fans are provided and there are also ceiling fans. The view is breathtaking, and it's as quiet as you can get.

I would highly recommend this place as we had a fantastic time here.

Thank you so much for your review and very kind comments.

Mandy and I think you are quite amazing. You say, you don't like heights and are a nervy driver on hills and yet you arrive in a fully laden 9 seater bus with 8 people and attendant luggage! We normally only recommend normal cars!

Along the coast in Andalucia, larger quality properties tend to be up in the hills. Many of the roads serving them are no more than narrow stoney tracks. The hillside road to our villa and surrounding properties is tarmac and concrete all the way with several passing places.

As many of our guests tell us, the 10 minute journey up to Casa la BuenaVida from the main road is well worth the effort. The reward is an exclusive location, spectacular views and a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the town.

Hope to see you and your family next year.

Reviewed 20 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Wow what a stunning villa! We all had a lovely relaxed stay at the villa, everything was just perfect. The beautiful views surrounding the whole villa just blew us away, the pool is ideal for everyone to cool off in, the barbecue area the space inside suited everyone's needs. You have thought of everything! Noel and Mandy are really lovely people (thank you for rescuing us)!!

I would definitely recommend your villa to others.

Thanks again fir letting us stay in your fabulous home.

“" Can we stay here forever!?"”
Reviewed 19 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

This is a beautiful villa with breathtaking views over the sea and mountains. Our party included grandparents and four grandchildren aged from 8-11; everyone had a fabulous holiday. My youngest son said on his second night as I said goodnight'"Mummy can we stay here forever please?!' Sadly we could not be we did have a great 2 weeks. Everyone enjoyed the swimming pool and the games room with a pool table. Nerja itself was lovely and the beaches were great; we all loved swimming in the sea and hiring a pedlo. The caves at Nerja were spectacular and the children also loved the water park at Almenucar where we spent a fun day. There is a bar and restaurant called Avelon just a few minutes from the villa where we had a fun evening with tapas and flamenco dancing/Spanish music. Altogether this was an amazing villa in a great location; our only concern is how we'll beat those views again!
