Except some problem with communication and basic information about time of intrance and code number to the lock etc everything was perfect.
We had a great time and two of my grandchildren learnt to swim in the fantastic pool.
Our second stay at Elena. Just loved it. Everything was just perfect for us. We can't wait to go back again. Lovely, relaxing and peaceful area.
Stayed here two years ago to the delight of a welcome pack. The bread milk and water were just what we needed after the flight and the 50 mins taxi ride. Also had clean towels and a cleaner came mid week.
This stay was disappointing. No welcome pack. Only one hand towel between three adults for seven days and only one regular bath towel each for seven days. The quality of the towels was poor and past thier best. Bed linen in double bed was also past it's best.
No change of linen and no cleaner. Also last stay in 2015 the pool man came mid week to clean the pool.
We love the area and the villa but housekeeping needs upgrading. Also the wardrobe space in twin room was taken up by a basket of laundry clean/ dirty? Not sure but not ideal, had nowhere to put my case.
Very nice place in a quiet urbanisation with a lovely pool on the terrace. Sea view in the distance and good location in the urbanisation. Nerja is a slightly annoying distance away if you want to go there most nights. Either drive and don't drink or catch the bus which stops at 20.45 in April in Nerja, taxi 6/7 euros or walk about 25mins.There was no welcome pack when you arrive telling all local info. Bedding was in need of upgrade. Sun lounger mattresses were too mouldy to use. We very much enjoyed our stay and it is a very good property for a quiet week away.
My husband and I with 2 children just returned from 1 week here. First time in Nerja and must say we loved it. The area of punta Lara is quiet we hardly seen a soul. We didn't hire a car but wish we had, although it's only €8-10 in a taxi we did this a few times along & back into Nerja centre. Absolutely beautiful town with plenty restaurants and bars till late. You can walk it but it was quite warm and we had two children. The bus didn't turn up on a couple of occasions so we gave up on that.
There are restaurants and a bar in the area but we didn't go. We were on holiday with a large group so we went into the main area most evenings.
The villa itself has everything you need, and having your own pool is the best! We arrived no problem and got in with the key safe. The place has recently been sold this didn't make any difference to us but the new owners didn't provide the welcome pack we expected. It's only a few basic things but would have been a huge help! Wouldn't cost much. We had to go to the neighbours to borrow a bottle of water for the baby until my husband figured out where the local shop was. A little stressful but we got sorted in the end
The villa needs a little upgrading but I'm sure the new owners realise this and are just trying to find time as it's so busy. The bedding and towels are past their best I would say. Otherwise It was clean & tidy. Mags who does the change over / cleaning etc came to see how we were settling in and was very friendly and helpful.
We will definately return to Nerja and this villa would be ideal again , really liked it.
