We stayed here for 4 nights with a 3 night jaunt to Morocco in the middle. We were a party of 8 friends from Norfolk sampling Simon and Niki from Inglorious Bustards ‘Birding 2 Continents’ tour. We couldn’t have been more happy with our accommodation. 5 of us stayed in The Spy House, a lovely old building with a communal lounge and kitchen. The other 3 were in lodges a short stroll away. The only use we made of the kitchen was to make pots of tea, or to open the wine before lounging on the comfy sofas in front of a log fire to discuss our day. Huerta Grande supplied breakfast (continental) and dinner which which was very good. And wine....always wine!
Plenty of birds around but sadly in late April the pool was still closed. This was a good base and only a short drive into Tarifa, a gorgeous little seaside town.More
