We were walking around downtown and found this. Something to see. Peace in many languages. Just a beautiful fountain

We stopped by while visiting the Farmers Market on the square. It is a very relaxing place to stop rest for a few minutes, enjoying the sound of the water.

It was under repairs when we visited. The actual fountain was beautiful with over one hundred languages for peace.

We were at the main square in Fayetteville and made the mistake of thinking that this would be easily visible from the car. Wrong. Using the GPS, I literally walked right next to this sphere without finding it, but once you see it you can't miss it. It is probably very easy to spot in the summertime when the water is running but when we were there, it was 1 degree Fahrenheit. It is a huge bronzoid sphere that says "Peace" all over it in many languages and alphabets. It must have been something else to design this, move it to this spot, and put it together.
