Beautiful property in a stunning location.
No hot water for our stay which on several calls was resolved on check out and no compensation was offered for this which was disappointing.
Otherwise no issues with the property.
10 of us stayed here for a birthday celebration in June. The accommodation was excellent. The rooms were spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and we were provided with a brand new bar b questions on the balcony. The view over the town and Carling ford lough was stunning. The walk into the town centre was between 5-10 minutes and down hill so no problem.
The only problems we had were finding the house due to the narrow roads and poor signposting. There was also a minor issue with water supply to our bathroom/shower but as the house is fitted with so many other bathrooms/shower facilities thus wasn't a problem.
In summary, this is a beautiful house in a great location with stunning views and I would recommend it for a family/group looking to stay in Carling ford.
Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Catriona and her Mum for the fantastic time myself and a group of friends had in Carlingford Heights. There were eleven of us altogether, and there was ample room. There were three couples in our group, each of them were able to enjoy their own room. The rest of us shared the other bedrooms comfortably, with beds to spare! The kitchen is gorgeous and the living area spacious and comfortable, however all in our group agreed that our favourite part had to be the huge terrace, some of it sheltered from Ireland's unpredictable weather, with an amazing view!
Would just like to say a quick thank you to our hosts for arranging a taxi to our bus terminus in Dundalk from the house with a local driver, it certainly saved us having to drag our luggage down the hill into the village (it's a lovely walk, but not with suitcases!)
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be recommending it to friends and family and hope to return at some stage!
