We will definitely be back as this was one of our favourite spots. Peaceful and relaxing, walk along the beach and watch the surfers or even try it yourself. Friendly staff, great service and food. Rooms are clean and comfortable with amazing views of the Atlantic

Second time to stay here. This time the weather was beautiful and the beach was busy. The view was fantastic. We had a lovely dinner and breakfast.
Took one star off as our room the last time was bigger. Overall the Sandhouse is a great place to stay. It’s lively, old fashioned in a nice way and friendly.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. View is amazing, going to sleep listening to the waves is so relaxing, food is amazing. Not so modern but sure that’s its charm. Staff r so helpful and polite, lovely building. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a wonderful getaway x

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious and plentiful,
all locally sourced. Hotel is not modern, is very clean and comfortable with old charm. They light a lovely peat fire in the open hearth in the evenings. A long beach and the views are awesome, could stay here forever. Time stops here. Also check out the monastery nearby and the museum and gift shop there. I'll be back next year.
