Tehúsið is a absolutely amazing place, well designed, cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Dóri og Agnes are fantastic hosts, super helpful, I really enjoyed staying there. Can´t say enough good things! Highly recommended, looking forward to visit them again. Thank you for outstanding service, you made our weekend in Egilstaðir unforgettable.

It's the first time that I stayed in a hostel with non-squeacking beds and perfectly comfy matresses: thick, but not to hard and not to soft. Common space has a comfortable sitting area and there is also a bar. The hostel is new and well equipped, but also has some old things in it that bring a cosy atmosphere and unique character to it - you can feel the history of the house (it used to be a carpenter's workshop). And what I absolutely loved about it is that inside smells of wood! The staff and the owner were very nice and helpful.
