We arrived here for a two night stop over on our way back to Cherbourg which is within a 30 mins drive.
We camped by the lake and were a little concerned at first as it all seemed a bit ramshackle. The good news is that everything was clean and working and it was delightful to pick an ideal spot down by the lake and then find we were the only people on the whole site. It was so nice to be totally alone. Madame was friendly and as relaxed as one could wish for, There were geese and hens and ponies and swings for children and acres of room to run and play in.
This is a hidden gem and my only concern about giving this review is that next time it will be full of other people!
