Great location 3 min walk from Patan temple and shopping area. The garden is an oasis of tranquillity and a sanctuary from the sensory overload of the busy Asian city. The rooms are comfortable with Wi-Fi,tv and lots of hot water. The breakfast is good and the owner Naveen is very helpfully. I had a late flight and was given a late checkout at no extra cost. There is a free push bike available to explore.

This hotel is a real cut above what you will find elsewhere in Nepal. The property is beautifully designed with real thought, love and care - for example with recessed antiques built into the walls and lovely lighting throughout. Delicious breakfast and prompt service. The beds are super comfortable and the sheets, duvets and pillows are of the best quality. Very nice bathrooms - with an eye for aesthetics such as the copper sink. The location is great, being about 5 minutes’ walk from Patan Durbar Square, a UNESCO world heritage site. The family who run this hotel give this place a more personal feel. Don’t hesitate to book this hotel!

We stayed here before and after some trekking in Annapurna. It is one of the best hotel stays I’ve had, mostly because of the unique building with its low ceilings, lovely wooden features and historic feel. The pictures are a faithful representation of the hotel, beds are very comfy, bathroom excellent and breakfast very nice. The owner Naveen and his staff are very nice. Naveen kindly helped me out in dealing with the airline who had lost my bag. He went above and beyond what would normally be expected of a hotelier.

The area which the hotel is located is great. You’re next to the cool old Durbar Square and there are loads of little side streets and old buildings to explore. This is a much nicer part of town than Thamel in central Kathmandu, but quieter at night. You can get taxi to Thamel easily if you want a bit of fun at night.

All in all, I’d definitely return to Kathmandu and definitely return to this hotel.

Patan is a buzzing place and it was refreshing and reviving to stay in this little tucked away hotel after exploring the neighborhood. The hotel is lovely with thoughtful decorations and superb cleanliness. The staff is super-friendly and helpful and we also had the the pleasure to talk to Naveen (the owner) who is a very friendly man.

Breakfast in the garden was fantastic and we also spent time just sitting and relaxing in the garden. Internet in the garden/restaurant is also super-fast (for Nepal) at around 9 megabit, so it's perfect if you have some work to do.

All in all, staying here was one of the highlights in Kathmandu.

The Hotel is excellent. The rooms are always clean, the food is very good and the staff is super caring. Also it’s very central and not that far away from the airport. If you are looking for a hotel that has high standards, but also represents Nepal, this is the place for you.
