Well, what a location! If it hadn't been for the clouds I'm sure the views would be spectacular.....so we missed out on the sunset / sunrise experience, but got to experience the road trip there and back and live to tell the tale!!!
The hotel rooms are nice, and we had a balcony, which was a plus - though the pigeons though it belonged to them and more than once flew into our panoramic (thankfully closed) windows. The food was decidedly average though it might have been my bad choice - avoid the Chinese buffet at all costs! It is 900 NPL all in but wasn't good, and the a la carte menu choices looked better. Breakfast was ok - just. I'd recommend asking for an omelette. Drinks were good value with a laphroaig 10 year malt being no more than in the UK. Pity about the view, as that is the whole purpose of going, but cannot blame the hotel for the weather. The wind was howling like a banshee through the aluminium windows, which made for an interesting nights sleep:)More
