Hotel is beautiful. Lush gardens filled with plants and trees, many identified for those challenged to identify them. Great pool and numerous other activities including an exercise course and tennis court. Room was great, with an outdoor sitting area and very effective A/C unit.
Restaurant is fantastic, with great service. Included breakfast was always highlighter by fresh local fruit.
This is a great base of operations in the region and a perfect family resort.
The only downside for me was the distance from the hotel to the town of Dominical. It is about half a mile along a very rough dirt road (hardly unusual in Costa Rica). Not a great road to walk along after dark, so a visit to town occasioned a trip by car in the evening. Not a show stopper, as there is so much to do at the hotel, but if you expect to stroll to town twice a day, you might be disappointed.More
