This house was perfect for me and my family (spouse and two teens). The location is private and quiet, with the exception of frequent trains that can be heard (no horns), but not seen, from the house. My family and I enjoyed the train sounds, especially at night while sitting on the front porch or sun room. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked, but the house lacked an outside grill. So, we bought a small Weber and donated it to the property. One can take a nice hike or run in the countryside / open range from the front door. Sights (e.g., Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve) are a short drive away. If you come during the summer and plan on being outside, you might need bug spray.
This house was a delight. The decoration, art work, books, light, views and comfort were top of the line. Antonia was very helpful. The scenery in this area is sublime. Open range prairie at sunset is beautiful. The house comfortably accommodated 3 women on an art retreat. It is furnished with all you need. Groceries are quite a drive so bring what you need.
