We absolutely loved our stay at the Star Motel. It is an adorable roadside motel that has been very tastefully restored. It is very nostalgic and I just love that about it! The location is perfect! You can walk to all of the uptown shops and restaurants as well as take a short drive to some amazing hikes! I highly recommend and we will definitely stay here again!

My sister and I stayed at the ten room Star Motel for one night. It is located in the heart of uptown Sedona. We walked 423 feet to the Cowboy Club Grill for dinner. We walked 450 feet to the HP Grill for breakfast. We window-shopped at lots of nearby shops and cafes. The motel was modestly furnished at $200/night. Our room was very quiet even though in the center of Uptown Sedona. We drove to nearby Slide Rock State Park. We drove to arts and crafts and restaurant center Tlaquepaque, where the parking is decent. We drove to the Sedona Historic Museum, where there is ample parking. Otherwise, we left the car at the Star Motel. Parking in tourist-packed Sedona is difficult, so we were happy to leave the car at the motel and walk. In October my husband and I have booked another stay because the location of the Star Motel is so convenient. Don’t stay at this motel if you want a great view of the red rock stone formations in Sedona. I will try to post photos.

This cute motel is just a short walking distance from many shops and restaurants in Sedona. The room was cozy with a very soft mattress and each side of the bed had a firm and soft pillow. It was like sleeping on a cloud. The check-in service was great, we were getting in late and received a text with our room code, wi-fi password, and suggestions for what to do while in Sedona before we arrived.

This motel is located about a mile down the road from some beautiful Sedona hiking. With parking being so scarce at trailheads in Sedona it was great to be able to park at the hotel and hike for the small price of a couple miles added to the trip.

This place offers the best location for walking through downtown. With the heavy traffic in Sedona, parking so close to the downtown is not easy. Being able to have your car parked so close to the main road is priceless. Despite central location, the room was not noisy. The accommodation is simple but with everything you need, comfortable bed, fridge, microwave. In observation of COVID-19 social distancing, the check-in was done by simple text massage with necessary information. I loved it. Seems to be about the only place in Sedona that observes social distancing.

We spentFriday and Saturday night here. A great spot, excellent location within walking distance of nearly everything. Rooms are perfectly appointed-small, mind you, but you have all you need. Love the retro Arizona Highway magazines in the room. Bedding super comfy and wonderful towels. Would return.
