“Beautiful Views”

Girls getaway for 4 nights in Sedona. We stayed in Unit #3 on the ground level. We had read some reviews about not getting a ground level unit due to the noise, but I believe it was all that was available when we booked. The unit itself was beautiful, spacious, well-appointed and with tremendous views of the red rocks that Sedona is noted for. Parking is a bit of a hassle especially when carrying packages, groceries, etc, but there is a parking slot right at the sidewalk to the unit which one can use for up to 30 minutes. Otherwise, you have to park up a hill and walk down and around to this particular unit. Our only complaint was the noise from the guests in the unit above us. It sounded like they were moving furniture across the floor and you could hear every footstep. Some soundproofing is needed between the upper and lower levels. With tile flooring, there is not much there to absorb the noise. The outside area was beautiful with a tranquil water feature, but no privacy between the other units and guests. It was more of a shared courtyard. If you are looking for something a bit more private, this would not be suitable. For two girlfriends, it was no problem although as we were watching TV on Saturday evening, other guests that were milling about outside could look directly in on us. There were no blinds on the door which is glass. The beds are very comfortable and the w/d is a welcome feature. The kitchen has the basics. Don't plan to cook a gourmet meal, but for simple meal preparation, everything was there including an ice-maker, garbage disposal, double ovens, and microwave. No ironing board, but we just fluffed everything in the dryer. The showers both had great pressure. Location is nice as it is tucked up and away from the bustle of Sedona, yet just a short drive to shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

“Incredible stay”

We stayed in Unit 1 for 5 days and all I can say is WOW! Not only is the condo extremely well appointed, well equipped and very clean, but the view is spectacular from that unit. The only problem we encountered was weak internet signal. The owner responded quickly and offered to upgrade us to a unit with stronger signal but we declined because of the satisfaction of all other aspects. We did find that by going out on the patio, we had a stronger signal. This is definitely a great place to stay in Sedona.

“Spectacular Sedona Views from every room.”
Reviewed 19 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

My family and I (four adults) enjoyed our stay at Vista Sedona Ridge very much. We had the Penthouse apartment (two bedrooms and two bathrooms) and it was very comfortable for four adults. Everything was provided including a washer and dryer. The property is centrally located and very close to all of the local attractions. It was nice having a full sized kitchen and a large living room so we could relax comfortably and fix several meals. And the views of the Sedona Red Rock Country from the large windows and deck were spectacular. We will certainly return to this property.

“Relaxing, peaceful condo with a gorgeous view.”
Reviewed 18 October 2013 for a stay in September 2013

We stayed in the Sunset suite(#4) in September. Loved every minute of it. It was so quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed having breakfast on the patio taking in the view every morning. You need to be at the condo at least one day for sunset. It is gorgeous and you will get beauiful photos.

“Can not wait to go back!”

We stayed in unit #4, which is on the top floor at the end of the building near the drive to the parking area. The grounds are beautiful and I loved the water feature on the grounds. We were able to sit on our patio and hear the waterfall and it was so very relaxing. I think that we went on an off- week, as there were only two other units that were being used, and one was for only one night, so we did not have any of the noise problems that other people have complained about.
The welcome basket was a very nice touch and I was excited to find that they had a yearly Red Rock Pass that we could use during our visit, so we did not have to purchase one when went hiking elsewhere. I also loved that they had some books to read if you wanted and even a puzzle, which I wanted to work on but we just didn't have the time. The light would have been perfect at the kitchen table to do a puzzle.
The TV in the living room did not have any sound, but we did not contact the manager about it. My husband looked at it and saw that the HTMI cable just needed to be replaced and he rigged it so we could have sound during our stay. I have no doubt that it has been fixed by now - it seemed that the entire complex is very well maintained, but we just did not bring it to anyone attention while we were there.
The master bedroom was very spacious and there was a small TV in this room also. I was a little surprised that the bathroom sink was in the bedroom but guess I am just not used to this design layout. The King bed was very soft, which my husband didn't care for, but I loved it.
The second bedroom had a queen bed and sliding glass doors leading to the back of the building.
I did do some laundry while staying (towels) and was very happy that they had soap for you to use already (no trip to the store needed) and the washer/dryer was in the unit.
It did take a little getting used to the fact that there were no blinds or shades on the beautiful panoramic windows in the living room/kitchen. It only took one morning to realize that we need to make sure to shut the bedroom doors at night so we are not awakened by the sunrise.
The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans, etc. and there was even some foil and saran wrap, which I was very grateful to find when I needed some.
This place was wonderful and I can’t wait to return!
