Great location - probably the best in downtown Sedona. Great views, although most all the downtown hotels have good views.
The downside is that this is an old (70’s?) hotel that is going downhill fast. And they don’t seem to be doing anything to fix it. For example, the original, small, low toilets from the 70’s are still there (and wobble). Front doors are warped, cracked and faded. Deck is exposed aggregate (gravel) that is coming apart.
Probably most annoying is that the pool has been closed for a couple months and there is no plan to fix it. Don’t expect it to open until 2022.
My guess is that this hotel is close to being completely remodeled (not just painted over again for the tenth time). If that doesn’t happen soon then this thing turns into a budget motel. Too bad because it has such a great location and view.More
