Always had an interest in architecture- both functional and aesthetic. The guide here had the same interests and gave a informative tour. Just viewing the place was awesome.

Taliesen is the iconic, desert home/studio/school of Frank Lloyd Wright and anyone interested in organic architecture will have a wonderful time here. Wright was a multi-faceted character and the guides’ stories about his work and life are interesting enough to delight young and old. There are discounts for Arizona residents and a nice gift shop.

Spent the afternoon visiting this amazing example of Frank Lloyd Wright architecture/building.
Really encourage taking the tour to learn history of the place and Frank's life.
Place is amazing-built in the middle of nowhere, no trees, no anything.
Tells of builders and even today interns/students living in canvas tents even during the summer.
The innovations are incredible to address the harsh environment, including basically no windows, partial walls and completely open to his poor wife having to deal with wildlife and critters roaming thru the house all the way back to 1937.
Beautiful place, National Historic Landmark
and well worth the trip and $30 admission.

This is a very interesting way to spend a couple hours. You don't have to be in to FLW or architecture to really enjoy this attraction. I would recommend to anyone.

I took my 8 and 7 year old on the Insights tour. The tour moved frequently and was visually interesting enough for the kids. I found the tour guide to be knowledgeable about the property and it's history. I would go back and take the nighttime tour in a heartbeat. Also, I found it very thoughtful of them for the out-of-towners taking the tour to loan out shade umbrellas for the outside portions.
