The service is very good at El Gato Azul. I wanted a prickly pear margarita without the mix and they did a great job with the drink; it was tart and tasty. The dinner salads were great as was the chocolate torte at the end. We had Paella Valencia and Poblano and Chorizo Shrimp. The black bean salad and Pico de Gallo were outstanding. The sauce with shrimp sauce needed a little something to pull it all together and give it some oompf. The paella was tasty and yet... it seemed as though the rice was cooked separately from the seafood and the seafood was overcooked. Now that said - - we left happy as clams having eaten nice food, had a couple of good drinks, and been well cared for by our server. An added bonus is that they have greeting cards in the restroom that are to be sent to people who make the world a better place. We sent ours off and feel that El Gato Azul does a good job of making the world a better place!

Serendipitous discovery (is that redundant?)! Anyway we stumbled upon this great restaurant venue with delicious tapas and a great wine list. The tapas make a meal, plenty of vegetarian options that would satisfy meat-eaters as well. If we are ever in Prescott again, it will definitely be our top dining choice!

We were downtown Prescott on a short two night visit. We saw some reviews and thought it sounded a bit quirky, so we tried it. Sat at a high top overlooking the small kitchen and watched the team do there majic. We order three tapas which were plenty to share for two. It was so good we made reservations for the next night and to sit outside on the lovely patio.

We were able to get a table outside without a reservation...we got lucky. The setting was really nice. They have a large list of tapas. We were not impressed with what we ordered, just OK, but I would go back and try again. It is a really nice place and our server was A+

The atmosphere was most excellent! Great wine list and menu. Order a tapas as a meal though, way too much food.

Hello! We appreciate you taking the time to share your review! We are glad to know you enjoyed the menu! Our Tapas vary in size but are definitely larger than traditional Tapas in Spain. We hope you are able to visit us again in the future!
