I know,, that is a odd title. We traveled to this location in a very hot time of year, and this location is close to a airport. So I was concerned the air conditioner would not be able to keep up with the heat, and we would hear airplanes all night long. Both of my concerns were not a issue at all.
Sam at the front desk was wonderful , helpful, and caring - a total asset to the hotel. He knew the local area and was really helpful getting us back to the airport to return our rental car - he even gave us a map with directions.
Customer service, beginning at the front desk was excellent. Sam was our first contact and he was friendly, helpful and pleasant. I was concerned about having a converted former smoking room because of my wife's allergies and he assured me that was not a problem. We were placed in a brand new renovated room. We were finishing a trip out west and we stayed in hotels/resorts that were more expensive, but this room was the best out of all of the rooms we stayed in on our trip.
We had a newly remodeled room. They did a great job on the upgrade. I stay in a lot of Hamptons and this was probably the largest standard room that I have had. The staff was nice and helpful. Convenient to the airport a few restaurants.
We did have some issues with people at the pool being very loud. The staff was very gracious about taking care of it.
The hotel was undergoing a complete renovation. We were given a newly renovated room that was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel was quiet. Our only concern was with the design of the bathroom which was different--no towel bars to hang wet towels, very odd sink and faucet design and a very heavy and odd bathroom door. Overall service was very good, especially at check in. Staff was most helpful in giving directions to nearby restaurants and directions to the rental car return at the airport. Complimentary breakfast was good. Check out took longer than necessary as the desk clerk seemed to be assigned a multitude of jobs which took her away from the desk for a long period time. All in all, the stay was very good and we would stay there again and recommend to friends and family. Seems we never go wrong at a Hampton Inn.
Fast and friendly check in and out. The room was clean & comfortable. Staff was very nice. Airport shuttle is so convenient & nice to be able to leave your vehicle there. They also have security patrolling the parking lot, which is comforting.
