We stayed at this hotel prior to boarding the Stella Australis. There is one long main shopping street in Ushuaia and The Lennox is located roughly centrally. Our reception was rather surly and our room was large with a good ensuite. The view from our room was onto backs of buildings but the view from the breakfast room is excellent. Breakfast was very disorganised on the morning of our stay - no bowls or cutlery; no juice left; no mugs but I think there must have been a rush and they were very slow to replenish stocks. It didn't matter though as the view is so special and we were happy to wait.
There is also a lounge on this level and a further sitting area by reception. Checkout was an hour before our cases were collected so we made use of the hotels comfy sofas. There didn't seem to be any safe storage for cases which was unfortunate for some people who had a longer wait than us. Apart from that, the hotel is very conveniently located for shops. museums and restaurants.

We decided to stay here for one night after an Antarctic cruise and were too tired to leave and find a different hotel.
The hotel is situated very conveniently on the main strip in Ushuaia which is why we chose the hotel.
We arrived and were checked in by a very surly, pregnant, receptionist. We were early and were directed to leave our bags in the hallway outside the elevators if we did not want to walk around with them. After depositing our bags we left and came back to check on our rooms and ask about massage services that were advertised.
they do have someone who comes to your room from an outside spa. We were told the massages were an hour long and we booked 4, one for each of the people in our group. 2 people received massages and the others just waited in their rooms for a therapist who never arrived. One person enjoyed the massages out of the 2 who actually received them.
The hotel advertises room service from 8am to 10pm but will not bring you anything from the room service menu until after 8pm. One member of the group wasn't feeling well and just wanted some soup and crackers and they were told they would have to wait until 8pm.
The beds are HORRIBLE, the springs creek if you move the slightest amount, the shower/tub is situated just next to the bidet so you have to either step in it if you are short or over it if you are fortunate enough to be tall. The rooms are not sound proof at all and it was very loud, all night with the noise from the streets and other hotel guests in the hallways. Breakfast was sparse and nothing like what they advertise.
The entire stay was a nightmare. not at all what was advertised and nothing like on their website.

Room Tip: Just don't stay here.

Hotel Lennox isn’t an upscale, over the top “house” but, I really dig this place especially for the cost. Its located right in town and my room had French doors and a small balcony that looked directly over the main street in Ushuaia. In the background, over the roof tops, were the beauty of the mountains. The location is perfect, the staff pleasant and the hotel itself is comfortable, tasteful and clean. This is an awesome choice for a average cost stay in Ushuaia. I'm a fan of the Lennox.

Check in/out
The front desk are not the most welcoming in the industry but were helpful. The 10am checkout I think is not industry standard.

Location
Just one word superb

Rooms
The linen and towels are faded. The pillowcase has a stain. Checks on the rooms post cleaning are obviously not done.

The other issue is sockets there is only one In room. As they only provide you with one key when leaving the room you can’t leave anything to charge whilst you are out as the keycard is needed to switch on electrics. If you leave another card in the slot the cleaner takes it off

The radiators make so much noise and found controlling temperature very difficult

Pillows are not the most comfortable.

Breakfast
Lovely staff at breakfast and the scrambled eggs are great. My only criticism is the toaster doesn’t toast. You need around 10 minutes to get a good piece of toast as you need to put bread in for three cycles. Surely invest in a better toaster

The view from breakfast area Is fab. There is a friendly cute seagull every morning waiting for titbits

For the price we paid we expected more

The Hotel Lennox Ushuaia is located directly on the Main Street; a stone's throw away from everything and absolute perfect location from which to explore the surrounding city. This was probably our favorite part of staying here; we walked everywhere in the very walkable and safe city with no issues whatsoever.

The hotel lobby is renovated and modern looking, the front desk staff speaks great English, and breakfast is served on the fourth floor overlooking the city and the Beagle Channel. A perfect view in the morning to start the day. Breakfast was great as well - scrambled eggs, meats, cheeses, pastries, coffee, tea, and more!

We had a room with a balcony facing the street which was very nice. There WILL be some street noise in the evening - bring your ear plugs and sleep mask, though this can be said for most of the stays we had in South America.

It feels like they've put some effort into this hotel but there's clearly a few things that are very "off" with this place:
- There is a solitary power outlet in the room which was worn out and didn't hold our power plug in place; we managed to get it working by placing a glass in between the power outlet and desk to hold the power plug in place. Although we notified the front desk staff, the issue never really got resolved and we had to deal with fiddling with the power outlet to charge our devices. Thankfully we had a 4-port travel charger and a huge power bank or we would have had much larger issues.
- The pillowcase was stained when we got to the room; promptly replaced by the housekeeping staff.
- My side of the mattress had a sunken spot so I had some issues sleeping

None of these are large issues, and Lennox delivered the basics (English speaking staff, good breakfast, generally decent room) and the location is perfect. To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised to find similar issues everywhere else in Ushuaia. I'd probably stay here again for the location alone, but be prepared that you might deal with some issues along the way.
