My wife and I stayed at Tierra de Leyendas during a swing through Argentine Patagonia. This is a very cozy inn, more in the style of a B&B than a hotel. The proprietor is very urbane. If I recall correctly, he worked at a big hotel in Buenos Aires before coming to Ushuaia and his sensibilities are reflected in the decor and ambience of the inn. We had dinner in the hotel one night and it was fantastic and the proprietor recommended another restaurant in Ushuaia where we dined and that one was fabulous as well. Breakfast was also delicious. The proprietor's wife (I believe) contacted us a few days before our stay and offered to arrange pickup at the airport and she also arranged a very nice Beagle Channel sightseeing trip for us. The hotel is a little outside the main part of Ushuaia in a residential area but taxis are easy to come by and it is walkable if you want to get some exercise.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view from our room was amazing and we felt so much at home. The hotel was quiet, a short ride away from the city center however it is perfect to stay here as the view is beautiful. You can see the Beagle Channel and the Andes. Sebastien the owner made us feel so much at home by cooking vegeterian meals. Keep up the hospitality.

Tierra de Leyendas is a charming boutique hotel just outside of the central business district. The owner and staff are gracious hosts - our stay was very pleasant. The rooms are well maintained. And the owner/chef prepares outstanding dinners.

This was the first stop of our organized tour of Patagonia...were we spoiled here! (as we realized later on our trip) Although partially hindered by a newly built 4-story building, there was still a beautiful view of the Beagle Channel and Chilean Andes mountain peaks! The hotel was very quaint and quiet. But you need to take a taxi to get to the 'downtown' area, which is otherwise a 25 minute walk, as well as to/from the airport. Great hospitality and delicious meals by Seba (the king crab was awesome!). Federico was also very helpful, offering to be our translator in trying to find our lost luggage. Overall, a wonderful stay--would return here again!

We stayed at this marvelous gem of a boutique hotel while visiting Ushaia recently. This is a fascinating and exciting locale to visit at literally the ‘end of the world’. It was made all the more comfortable and inviting with our stay with Tierra de Leyendas Boutique Hotel. The food was excellent, the view was fantastic and the accommodations beyond what we expected in this part of Argentina. We highly recommend this hotel. Our hosts helped us with all the necessary arrangements to make our trip to Ushaia fascinating and extremely memorable. We highly recommend this hotel!
