OMG! This place is unbelieveble!
I've had a lot of steaks in my life... but this was absolutely the best one ever!
Perfect service with explenation about the different dishes. Verry friendly with good advice. So we discovered a verry good cabernet sauvignont. Mmmmm

Thank Willem D

The food (stake) is off the chart in the lovely place. I can't describe it other way. Yes, really that good. :)
You meed to make a reservation (the place is very small so it gets full quickly) if you don't want to wait too much but it worth the effort. Wines are really good -mostly Malbec base- but think twice to order a appetiser..... The main stake is about 500g if not more so make sure you have space in your tammy. And the dessert is just easy, homemade delights.
All waitress speaks English and very friendly. Absolute 5*

Firstly, make a reservation if you dont want to be disappointed, because it can get busy and may have to wait.We ordered the Lomo and Bife de Chorizo, and we had no idea of the size of the steaks until they arrived at our table. You are looking at 500-600 grams of prime beef cooked to perfection,so bring your appetite.Good selection of wines and beers too.Highly recommend this place for a feed.

Wow! What a fantastic restaurant. Excellent steak and red wine, awesome staff and overall a terrific experience. If you are in Bariloche then you must visit Alto el Fuego.

We went on a Saturday lunch on our way between the airport and Cerro Catedral.
Nice rustic setting, a small cottage house in a small park, it must be wonderful eating outside in the spring or summer!
Simple decor, very friendly service ( they also speak good English and take credit cards). The ojo de bife is actually two full-size steaks, the entraña is also humongous! Most importantly, both were cooked perfectly (medium rare as requested -al punto) and delicious!! If you had your share of ojos de bife and like meat with a bit more of taste (probably you are not a gringo ;) try the entraña, it’s really fantastic here! All very reasonably (moderately) priced.

I did not try the mollejas (sweetbread) but they looked spectacularly good! Will try next time. Their apple juice was also very good. Overall, really worth a visit.
One star off b/c the grilled vegetables were nothing special and the fries were good but a bit soggy and we have seen better in the garnitures department.
