We went to Manush twice during our time in Bariloche and enjoyed both outings. The service was great, the food was good, and both the porter and IPA were pretty tasty. It was recommended to us and Manush did not disappoint.

Cool bar with good food and a good selection of beer. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the fun atmosphere.

We arrived to this establishment expecting a great night out. Through friends we had heard that this pub would provide a great supplement to the beauty that is Bariloche.

Upon arrival we were given a table number and herded like cattle to our allocated allotment. We gave the venue the benefit of the doubt and followed our shepherd. This is a popular stable for animals like us that venture far into the Patagonia landscape.

We were placed next to a table of a large man, his wife, and their young baby.

We got our first round selecting from a generous menu of craft beers. I'm writing this as we're working out our split of the bill at the end of the night. We rocked in at 11.30pm... it is now 1am. Nothing would prepare us for the chaos that would ensue.

After a careful swapping and sampling of the beers we had ordered we agreed that the Honey Ale was the best beer. However, it was not this liquid that would dictate the folowing hour.

As the conversation flowed so did something else from the table next to us. A man, the father of the baby and husband to the wife, chose to finish his pint quickly as his small family prepared to leave the pub. Maybe 10 years ago he could have finish the pint in one quick gulp. But this man is a family man and not the beer legend he once was.

The manoeuvre backfired and he proceeded to vomit all over his table and his friendly neighbours.... Us.

The vomit debris flew like shrapnel across our pints, the missiles chunks landed over out friend's clothes and arm. We initially thought it was the baby and did our best to help the family. However upon seeing the man and his glass full of sick we realised the culprit was in fact the father.

A good pub ensures that their customers feel as comfortable as they do in their own living room. A good bar ensures that you feel like it is your mother looking after you.

We hoped that the waiters and manager of the stable would provide solace from the storm provided by the poor father (ex-beer legend). The family escaped. We did not.

The ill-informed waiter moved us to a new table and proceeded to explain that the vomit onslaught was not theirs. Our pints which had been contaminated by chunklets of father reguritation were not deemed enough for a full apology and refund.

As a group we do our best to be agreeable and a friendly flock of the farm. However, we felt this too much and asked for a refund of some sort.

They returned with three tea cups of beer. We paid the bill. And left.

Let it be known, that we believe this is management issue and not the dedicated working staff who had to clean the former beer legend's spew off our table. This is an issue with the man, and a reflection of what is going on on a worldwide scale. Slainté x

good bar food in a casual, relaxed atmosphere, reasonable prices, excellent beers. Open for that mid afternoon burger craving.

Evidently a popular place to eat as it was packed. We were lucky to get a table...busy, buzzing place. Food was above average, but that’s it. Would go again.
