When I visited El Mercado I hoped to find some nice shops, restaurants, pubs or bistros. But I went on a holiday weekend and everything was closed. The place appeared to be desertic and the signs seemed to have been put there ages ago, kind of a far west movie staging.

Very nice place to loose oneself for a couple of hours (or more). It has been built with antique materials recovered from old or to-be demolished buildings. There's a hamburguer restaurant (Very good quality and reasonable price), pubs, ice-skating rink, decoration shops, pizza parlours, etc.
