We had dinner at Ceibo last night. It is just next to Plaza Italia. It is an intimate restaurant with a few smaller rooms to dine in. The waitress did not have much English but the maitre d’ was able to help us with ordering. I had a shrimp and cheese empanada to start which was hot, tasty and had flakey pastry. We both ordered steak for mains - one with mashed potato the other with roast potatoes. The steak was very tasty, perhaps a little undercooked for how we asked but this has been a common experience for us in Argentina. The mashed potatoes were delicious while the roast potato was disappointing - it was more of a potato rosti. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.
