When we arrived the serving staff were slow to provide menus but I think this was just due to a mix up between waiters. The empanadas were great and the pizzas were cheese loaded and gooey as is the style in BA. Drinks and food were incredibly good value and service was quick once our order was taken although we were eating in an almost empty restaurant at 20:00, it did fill up quickly with locals just as we were going.

If you like good honest food and a good price then this is the place for you.

Fugazzetta that's all you need to know and order. It is a pizza dough smothered with fresh mozzarella and topped with saute onions and olive oil. Amazing taste, cheesy to the max potential and just plain delicious. Is a simple joint but you can see from the endless amount of people that El Cuartito is indeed a staple place for the locals to eat.

A pizza haunt very much favoured by the locals. Folk can order a slice at the counter and eat it at the same counter.
Alternatively you can sit down and have a pizza and a beer or wine.
Pictures of old football and boxing stars line the walls.
We shared a Napolitana for 300 ARG $ with a half litre carafe of wine 80 ARG $.
Very friendly waiter.

My husband and I ordered the large calabrese pizza and couldn't quite manage to finish it so now have tomorrow's snack. The base was not thin but was crunchy. Loads of cheese and tasty, salty sausage and fresh tomatoes made this a very tasty pizza with good wine and friendly service. This isn't a dress up restaurant but it is popular.

I know there are lots of choices in BA.

But this place has lots of character. Even better than Guerrin IMHO.
Very obliging service staff. Will let the pictures do the talking.

Best Fuguzetta
